Susa Monteiro, a Portuguese illustrator who lives and works in Beja, shows us a very personal way to know her city. In the Court’s garden, Susa chats with her friends for endless hours; in the Culture House, she likes drawing and appreciating the spring; in the Public Library José Saramago, she draws and does research for her projects.
The collection My City presents cities across the world to unfold and discover through the eyes and hands of illustrators who were born or live there. Each illustrator selects 12 places to describe in a fold-out book, which is also a map. The places selected represent a very personal tour of each city.
