Manuel Marsol

Born in Madrid, in 1984, Manuel studied Advertising and Audiovisual Communication and worked as a advertising creative from 2009 and 2012, being recognized in El Sol and Cannes Lions festivals. In 2012 he decided to redirect his carrer to dedicate himself to what he really enjoys: drawing. He moved to Barcelona to do a post-grad in Children's Illustration at EINA, returning to Madrid in 2014. His work was seleccted for the Illustrators Exhibition of Bologna Children's Book Fair. He recieved the Edelvives International Award for Illustrated Album, the V Iberoamerican Illustration Catalogue Award and the Award for Best Illustrator of an Internacional Album on the Amadora BD Festival. He won in 2017 the Illustrators Internacional Award at Bologna Children's Book Fair.
